Ro A50 Wireless Headset Review

Posted on August 1, 2022July 31, 2022 By Steve Cage No Comments on Ro A50 Wireless Headset Review

In this review, we’ll talk about the features, Price and Base station of the ro a50 wireless. We’ll also cover the EQ preset system. These features are all important to any wireless audiophile. Whether you’re in the market for a new wireless headset or are already a loyal user, this is the review for you. So, let’s get started! What should you look for in a wireless audiophile headset?

Review of ro a50 wireless

The A50 wireless headset comes in two variants, one for Xbox One and the other for PS4. It can be connected to both PC and consoles, though you have to buy the appropriate version. Each variant has its own design, with the Xbox One version sporting a bright green exterior and the PS4 variant sporting a black and blue colour scheme. However, both variants feature the same basic functionality, so it doesn’t matter which one you own.

The base station on the A50 wireless is less bulky than the 2016 model and could easily be mistaken for a charging cradle. Its black plastic trapezoid is large enough to accommodate the headset, and has two large charging recesses on either side. The headset’s earcups are raised, and the base station also has indicator lights located directly below the headset’s charging contacts.

Price

The Ro A50 is a wireless headset that can be used with PCs and other USB-enabled devices. The headset also includes a wireless base station that functions as a surround card. This allows you to use it without using a separate sound card, and has a selector for PCs or PS4s. This dock also serves as a wireless charging station for the headset, eliminating the need to plug it in.

The Ro A50 is priced at $300 for the headset and transmitter, which makes it the most expensive in its class. Despite its high price, the headset exudes quality. Although it lacks some of the features that cheaper sets have, it does come with interference-free wireless surround sound. Compared to other gaming headsets, the Ro A50 is worth the money. The headset is not as good as other wireless headsets, but it has a great battery life, and it has excellent audio features.

Base station

The Ro a50 wireless headset and base station are the latest additions to the popular audio and video gaming line. The A50 wireless headset works with PCs and PS4s. The base station acts as a surround sound card, and there is a selector for PC and PS4 inputs. It also serves as a wireless charging dock for the headset, which means no need to plug it in. The base station also has a USB charging port.

The ASTRO Audio V2 provides legendary performance with freedom from wires. The a50 boasts top-of-the-line acoustics, ergonomics, comfort, and durability. The ASTRO Command Center software lets you customize the sound and the headset, and an optional A50 Mod Kit adds synthetic leather headband and ear cushions. With the ASTRO Audio V2, you experience complete audio immersion.

EQ preset system

The A50 Wireless features a customizable EQ preset system. Unlike other wireless headsets, you don’t have to program the EQ for every song. Instead, you can customize it yourself using the Astro Command Center software. If you don’t feel comfortable with the presets provided, you can disable them to make your sound more personalized. If you don’t care about surround sound, the custom EQ will still apply to stereo sound.

The Astro A50 headphones are better suited to gamers, as they lack onboard controls for music playback and call management. Their volume wheel and EQ preset cycle buttons can be found on the right ear cup. They also have four noise gates, which help isolate your voice from other background noise. The A50s’ audio controls are based on the Astro Command Center software. A downside to the headset is the lack of an in-line mic control. The Astro A50 headphones are not compatible with surround sound and lack a true button mapping system.

Bluetooth vs USB

The A50’s USB connectivity and Bluetooth don’t directly compare, but both have advantages and disadvantages. The latter is faster and more secure than mobile hotspots. Bluetooth, on the other hand, is more battery-draining, especially if you’re constantly on the go. However, if your computer’s audio output is poor, USB might be the way to go. The A50 does have a USB charging port and Bluetooth doesn’t.

The Woojer Vest Edge is a good example of a device that connects to the Astro A50 wireless receiver. For pairing, you have to turn the device off and hold down the power button for five seconds. The device will then automatically pair itself with the Astro A50 Base Station. After 30 seconds, the Bluetooth button will become solid blue. Alternatively, you can also connect the Astro A50 Base Station to your computer’s Bluetooth-enabled devices using an Opt/In or SPDIF cable.

Oculus rift compatibility

Oculus Rift and Ro a50 wireless are compatible with each other, allowing you to use the headset wirelessly and play PC VR content. The cable connects the headset to your PC via USB-C. The cable also allows you to access the Rift’s content library. While the wire may restrict mobility, it will allow you to play high-end PC VR games without sacrificing quality.

The MYJK gaming headset offers a simple clip-on design and lightweight build, allowing you to enjoy your favorite VR experience without any hassles. It features crystal-clear sound and is compatible with OEM Oculus 2 head straps. It also offers a secure fit. To make use of Virtual Desk, you need to enable tracking. Go to the Settings – Device and enable the Tracking toggle.
